About Our Client
Our client in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Electrical Engineering Professional to take the lead in designing large-scale power systems. They lead in their field by providing a full suite of engineering and inspection services, while being committed to their core values (and living them)!

Day to Day
- Develop engineering deliverables (drawings, specs, calculations, testing)
- Perform electrical calculations (load analysis, circuit sizing, etc.)
- Design power systems, grounding, panels, cable trays, lighting, controls
- Create data sheets, bills of materials, and cost estimates
- Review submittals, provide construction support, and conduct inspections
- Contribute to proposals, fee/schedule estimates, and business development
- Mentor junior team members
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 7+ Years of Experience in Leadership and Project Management
- Experience in the design of power generation and distribution for 480V and 15kV systems is preferred
- Proficiency in National Electrical Codes and office software (AutoCAD, EasyPower, etc.)
- Arctic engineering design experience is an asset
Bonus Points (If You Have)
- Power system experience at voltage levels greater than 15kV
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Business development experience
