A long-standing Alaska air cargo carrier is seeking its next President and CEO. This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the state's most essential transportation organizations. The company plays a critical role in keeping goods moving across Alaska, including some of the most remote communities in the country. The mission is meaningful, the work is complex, and the impact is felt every day.
The ideal leader brings steady judgment, strategic clarity, and strong relationship skills. This organization needs someone who can balance operational realities with long-term vision, who is comfortable in a safety-critical environment, and who can build trust with customers, regulators, partners, and employees. This is a hands-on, Alaska-based role that requires presence, engagement, and credibility.
Your day-to-day: As President and CEO, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to guide the organization’s long-term direction and ensure it continues to deliver safe, reliable service across Alaska. Your leadership will span every major function, including flight operations, maintenance, cargo services, finance, commercial strategy, and company culture. You will oversee financial and operational performance, support a strong safety culture, mentor the executive team, and represent the organization with regulators, industry partners, and community leaders. You will help the company navigate growth, change, and unexpected challenges with confidence and consistency.

- Safety, compliance, and risk management with a clear tone at the top
- Financial and operational performance including budgets, KPIs, and capital planning
- Customer, regulatory, and industry relationships across Alaska and beyond
- Leadership development, team performance, and organizational culture
- Crisis response and change leadership when the unexpected happens
We’re looking for:
- Senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, ideally within aviation, logistics, or another regulated industry
- Experience leading large, complex, safety-focused operations
- Strong financial and operational skill sets, with a track record of delivering results
- Experience working with a Board of Directors and/or Executive Leadership Team
- The ability to earn and maintain trust with regulators, customers, and stakeholders
- A leadership style rooted in accountability, communication, and respect
- A willingness to be visible and engaged across Alaska, including rural communities
