Member Sales Support Floater – Relationship Specialist I
Anchorage, AK (Fully in-office)
$20+ per hour DOE
Your day-to-day: As a Relationship Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional member service while managing a wide range of financial transactions. You will receive and disburse funds, post deposits and loan payments, handle transfers, money orders, cash advances, and process all types of withdrawals. You will open and maintain savings, checking, money market, and certificate of deposit accounts, including issuing temporary checks, and provide plastic card services such as issuing temporary cards, re-PINing existing cards, and ordering new cards. In addition, you will perform account maintenance tasks like updating addresses and name changes, and recommend additional products and services to members to support their financial needs.
This role also includes balancing your cash drawer, completing required compliance and training programs, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. You will represent the Credit Union positively and professionally, maintain member and sensitive information with strict confidentiality, and treat all coworkers and members with respect. Other related duties may be assigned, providing opportunities to support the branch and contribute to overall operational excellence. The float position requires ability to travel to multiple branch locations in Anchorage; sometimes even remote areas and possibly even Wyoming branches to support staffing needs where/as needed.
You need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related branch operations experience.
- Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E, and other pertinent regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and services.
- Basic knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and NCUA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to compute interest on savings, loans, and certificates.
- Demonstrated ability to operate office machines, including copier, 10-key, and PC.
- Proficient in PC operations and Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Internet and Intranet systems.
- Knowledge of SharePoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, member service, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must present a professional demeanor.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
- Successful completion of all compliance-related coursework.
- NMLS Registered.
Preferred:
- At least one year of related branch operations experience and previous retail experience
