Our Client
A statewide nonprofit focused on dementia education and caregiver support is seeking a Provider Outreach Strategist to expand provider knowledge, strengthen referral pathways, and improve access to dementia services across urban, rural, and Alaska Native communities.
What you'll do
- Develop and adapt culturally relevant dementia education materials for healthcare providers and community partners
- Build and maintain relationships with medical providers, tribal health organizations, and state agencies
- Deliver presentations and trainings to strengthen provider knowledge of dementia recognition and available supports
- Conduct community outreach with Alaska Native populations using community-informed approaches
- Track outreach activities and contribute to data collection and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of outreach or community engagement experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Alaska's rural and urban communities; understanding of Alaska Native cultures and traditions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to pass a state and federal background check
Additional details
Position involves regular travel across the state, occasional evening and weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Serves communities in Anchorage, Mat-Su, and rural Alaska.
