The Role: Customer Service Outreach Representative
Are you outgoing, friendly, and ready to hit the pavement with purpose? We are looking for upbeat, people-loving individuals to join their Community Engagement Team as Canvassers/Doorknockers. You'll work during the week, chatting with neighbors and making meaningful connections.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Team up and head out to pre-planned neighborhoods for some good old-fashioned face-to-face outreach.
- Strike up friendly conversations, help residents complete a quick survey, and connect them to the MTA team for more info.
- Be the approachable, enthusiastic face of MTA—every door is an opportunity!
- Wrap up your shift with a quick debrief to share insights and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 18+.
- Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or cold calling preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and working outdoors.
- Presentable, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Passionate about community engagement and technology.
