Would you like to:
- Adhere to organizational compliance standards (including Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures)
- Provide direct team-based primary care services
- Maintain and improve professional skills (including attendance at professional conventions, seminars and participation in professional societies)
- Actively promote the interests of the Clinic
- Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to services rendered – attend to all billing reports, claims, and correspondence
- Currently and continue to be licensed by the State of Alaska to practice without restrictions
- Maintain status as a provider under and in compliance with rules and regulations of the Medicare and Medicaid programs, Managed-Care and direct contracting arrangements, and any other programs in which the Clinic participates
- Maintain confidentiality of all health records and information as required by law
- Cooperate with other employees in all reasonable manners
- Abide by the schedule of hours formulated by the Clinic
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures for agency programs
- Provide training and educational seminars to staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
You need:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Degree from an accredited university
- Current Alaska Advance Practice Registered Nurse license
- Current prescriptive qualifications under the Controlled Substances Registration Certificate requirements of the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with EMR/EMS
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Ability to relate positively and courteously, promoting cohesiveness and cooperation
General:
- Clear background check
- Current TB screening test result
- BLS certification to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire. CPI certification must be obtained when offered through the agency; may substitute current MANDT certificate for CPI
