As a Merchandise Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the buying team by handling data entry and keeping product availability and pricing information up to date. You'll work closely with the Senior Buyer to make sure inventory and sales operations run smoothly by entering and managing important product details.
In addition to working with numbers, you'll help keep everyone on the same page by sharing key product information with internal teams and vendors. Being organized and detail-oriented will be important in this role, as you'll help ensure everything is accurate and up to date.

Every day is different, but your day-to-day may look like this:
In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Buyer to help keep the purchasing process organized and running smoothly. Your main tasks will include creating and submitting purchase orders for restocks, special orders, and seasonal buys, as well as making sure all information is entered correctly and on time. You'll also help track stock levels, manage automatic reorders, and follow up on back orders to keep things moving efficiently.
Beyond data entry, you'll assist with inventory management by creating SKUs and UPCs, processing availability requests, and supporting special orders. You'll also have opportunities to collaborate with the team, contribute to department performance analysis, and share insights in meetings. Keeping records accurate, costs updated, and pricing correct will be key to ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
 
You need: 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Ability to handle, analyze, and retain data and information with accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize data, information, and events
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Broad knowledge and experience in basic business and the retail industry
Preferred:
  • Two years of experience in retail or comparable industry
