Mayor LaFrance announces Community Grant awardees
Each year, the mayor of the Municipality of Anchorage awards grants to local nonprofits who serve the community. This long-standing tradition provides support and recognition for organizations dedicated to addressing community needs. Emily Edenshaw to Step Down as President & CEO of the Alaska Native Heritage Center
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC) President and CEO, Emily Edenshaw, (Yup’ik/Iñupiaq/Adopted Raven Thunderbird Clan of Old Masset, Haida Gwaii) is stepping down from her role effective July 31, 2025.
