Job Summary:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the mission of the organization.
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of HR professionals, ensuring effective HR support for 300 employees.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic workforce planning initiatives.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and coaching employees.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Manage employee benefits programs.
Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Train and develop HR staff and serve as a facilitator for HR training sessions.
Successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
Minimum of 10 years HR experience, including 5 years in management.
5 years experience managing HR in multi-site environments.
Proficient in multi-state labor laws, compensation, benefits, and HR operations.
Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR.
Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; UKG payroll experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving, assertiveness, empathy, and confidentiality skills.
Must hold a valid Alaska Driver’s License
