Alaska’s leading adolescent residential treatment program is looking for additional team members. We are currently recruiting a Masters-level Mental Health Therapist to join our team.
We are looking for candidates who embody common sense, bring a sense of humor, and have a genuine passion and talent for working with youth and families.
Responsibilities/Function Includes:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
- Provide risk assessment and crisis intervention.
- Completes Comprehension Behavioral Health Assessment (BHA)
- Maintain a contemporary knowledge of mental health resources.
- Prepare and present pertinent, mental health-related groups for resident youth and their families.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, Behavioral Sciences, or related Social Science and experience.
- Able to pass a background check
