The Anchorage Chamber's Civic Engagement and Leadership Program (CELP) is back!
The new CELP Series will provide participants with critical leadership techniques to utilize in their careers. Whether it's networking, public speaking, local government, community service, or ethics, CELP covers it all and ensures your growth and success in the Anchorage business community. The program will also include exclusive tours and presentations provided by Alaska's leading industries and services.
Utilities Day features how our utilities provide a vital part of Anchorage's infrastructure, along with an exclusive walking tour of the SWS facilities. Have you ever wondered: Where does all that refuse end up? What new technology and systems keep it from growing into a mountain of garbage? How long will the landfill last, and what comes next? What does Anchorage’s electric future look like? What can we do at home to reduce our waste and energy costs? These questions, and more, will be answered on Utilities Day!

Mission Statement: Provide a resource for personal and professional development through civic engagement, business learning, and hands-on experience.
Goal: Growing Future Leaders for Alaska
Time: 2nd Friday of each month, 9 am to Noon
Cost: $85 per session. This fee includes all course materials, resources, and breakfast.
