Whether it's networking\, public speaking\, local government\, community service\, or ethics\, CELP covers it all and ensures your growth and success in the Anchorage business community. The program will also include exclusive tours and presentations provided by Alaska's leading industries and services.\n\n\n\nUtilities Day features how our utilities provide a vital part of Anchorage's infrastructure\, along with an exclusive walking tour of the SWS facilities. Have you ever wondered:  Where does all that refuse end up?  What new technology and systems keep it from growing into a mountain of garbage?  How long will the landfill last\, and what comes next? What does Anchorage's electric future look like? What can we do at home to reduce our waste and energy costs? These questions\, and more\, will be answered on Utilities Day!\n\n\n\nSpeakers include:\n\n	Maria T. Owens\, Customer Service Supervisor\, Solid Waste Services\, Municipality of Anchorage\n	Shaina Kilcoyne\, Energy and Sustainability Manager\, Solid Waste Services\, Municipality of Anchorage\n	Sandy Baker\, Public Outreach Coordinator\, Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility\n	Julie Hasquet\, Communications Manager\, Chugach Electric\n\n\n \n\n\nMission Statement: Provide a resource for personal and professional development through civic engagement\, business learning\, and hands-on experience.\n\n\n\nGoal: Growing Future Leaders for Alaska\n\n\n\nTime: 2nd Friday of each month\, 9 am to Noon\n\n\n\nCost: $85 per session.
