Beginning in August, school start times are changing for the Anchorage School District. This adjustment will have a broad-reaching impact on our community. The District is encouraging all families, businesses, and community members to start planning now for a smooth transition in the fall.
 
Families and businesses are encouraged to consider how the changes might impact them. For families, this might change before- or after-school care options, transportation, or sports schedules. For businesses, this might impact staffing levels or times that establishments see an increase in customers.
 
We are asking for your help to share this message with your employees, clients, customers, and friends. We’ve attached a flyer and two social media graphics for ease of sharing. The flyer is also available in Spanish, Samoan, Tagalog, Hmong and Korean. If you would like printed 11x17 posters for display at your workplace, translated flyers, or other support materials, please reply to this email.
