Rasmuson Foundation welcomes new staff, announces executive promotion

Anchorage, Alaska – Rasmuson Foundation today announced the addition of two new team members and expanded responsibilities for a key staff member, strengthening the Foundation’s leadership and operational capacity.

Jess Haley has been promoted to the newly created role of Director of Board, CEO, and Family Engagement. Haley joined the Foundation in 2019 and previously served as Manager of Board Relations. With more than 17 years of experience in education and nonprofit sectors, she oversees governance, board compliance, and best practices while engaging with the multi-generational Rasmuson family and community member board directors.

Helen Drewel joins the Foundation as Executive Assistant to Grantmaking Leadership, providing strategic and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Drewel brings nearly two decades of experience supporting senior leaders in public and nonprofit sectors. She will work closely with Chief Program Officer Tasha Pineda, coordinating schedules, organizing meetings, managing projects, and fostering collaboration between internal teams and external partners.

Jamey Bradbury also joins the Foundation as Communications Associate, helping shape strategic communications through storytelling and written content. Bradbury brings experience in nonprofit and creative fields, including work with Alaska Native tribal organizations and contributions to local publications. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing.
