Rasmuson fosters Foundation relationships with new hire

Anchorage, ALASKA — As Rasmuson Foundation celebrates 70 years of investing in Alaska communities, it is also investing in its relationships and strengthening partnerships. In a new role as partnership manager, Sydney Copley will support the development of strategic relationships to advance the Foundation’s mission of empowering Alaskans to help each other.

“Beyond grantmaking, Rasmuson works to connect and convene Alaskans and Sydney is a natural fit for this role,” said Tasha Pineda, vice president of strategy for the foundation. “Her experience at the foundation leading large projects and working closely with our partners will benefit all of us.”

A lifetime Alaskan from North Pole, Copley assumes the new role after serving the foundation for more than six years, most recently as a project manager. She is a board member of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and prior to Rasmuson, she was a board member of the Fairbanks Montessori School and worked under three administrations at the Office of the Governor for the State of Alaska.
