Ohana Media Group Promotes Scotty Simmons to Program Director of 102.1 KRAK-FM
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — September 1, 2026 — Ohana Media Group is proud to announce the promotion of veteran radio personality Scotty Simmons to Program Director of 102.1 KRAK-FM.
Simmons brings more than 30 years of broadcasting experience and a lifelong passion for rock music to the role. He joined Ohana Media Group in March 2026 and quickly built strong connections with the station’s listeners, clients and Anchorage community.
“Scotty’s experience, creativity and genuine connection with our listeners make him the perfect person to lead KRAK,” said Cat Okegawa, Vice President and General Manager of Ohana Media Group. “He understands what makes great local radio, and I’m excited to see him continue growing a station created specifically for Anchorage.”
As Program Director, Simmons will oversee the programming and continued development of 102.1 KRAK-FM while maintaining its strong local focus.

Simmons will continue hosting weekday afternoons on 102.1 KRAK-FM and weekday mornings on sister station 96.3 The Moose.
