The 2026 Seymour Awards Banquet is on Friday, April 3. This year’s theme is Night of the Stars: Celebrating the Stars Among Us!

Visitor Industry Advancement Award
Recognizes innovation, new business or investment, industry advocacy, development of new products or markets, and involvement in developing educational opportunities.

Contribution to the Community Award
Honors an industry supporter who elevates the public profile of the visitor industry. This award is open to both members and non-members who bring positive attention to our community and the visitor industry.

Member of the Year Award
Recognizes outstanding contributions in 2025 or contributions over a period of time.

All Alaskan Award
Celebrates a member, person, or business with longevity, sense of community and stewardship. In addition, they have created a legacy of self-sufficiency and personifies the Alaska spirit that Visit Anchorage sells to the world.

Philanthropic Award
Recognizes a commitment to improving the lives of those who live within the Municipality of Anchorage through charitable endeavors.

Sustainable Action
Honors significant and measurable efforts to make Alaska travel more sustainable through policy changes, innovative technologies, or encouraging behavior changes in guests and staff.
