First National Bank Alaska strengthens leadership team with key appointments and promotions
First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors announced several appointments and promotions January 25, 2025 at their annual Dinner Dance. The event recognizes and celebrates bank achievements.
Key appointments and promotions to the bank’s leadership include:
- Branch Administration Director Karl Heinz was promoted to Senior Branch Administration Director and appointed Executive Vice President.
- Senior Corporate Lending Director Chad Steadman was appointed Executive Vice President.
- Treasury Management & Anchorage Branch Administration Director Elaine Kroll was promoted to Senior Banking Director and appointed Executive Vice President.
- Human Resources Director Steve Patin was promoted to Administrative Director and appointed Executive Vice President.
- Lending Unit Team Leader Ligia Lutan was promoted to Senior Lending Team Leader and appointed Senior Vice President.
- Central Loan Processing and Servicing Director D’Ava Marsh was appointed Senior Vice President.
“The promotion of these key managers to our already strong and dynamic leadership team will lift our bank’s performance and service to Alaskans to the next level,” said Betsy Lawer, First National Board Chair and CEO/President. “As we build on the momentum generated in 2024, I’m excited about where our expanded leadership team will take us to further help Alaskans shape a brighter tomorrow.”
