What: The Mayor’s Office and Anchorage Community Development Authority will host an information session for community members to learn more about the Municipality’s Microunits for Recovery Residences pilot project. This innovative project will help address Anchorage's need for transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness who are seeking treatment for substance use disorder. The project includes at least 24 microunits constructed this fall located on municipal land near the Elmore Permit Center. The operator of the Recovery Residences will be under contract to the Anchorage Health Department and will be an experienced community behavioral health provider.
