Business Development Manager
Position Overview
Title: Business Development Manager – AK
Location: Hybrid – Anchorage, AK
This role is responsible for maintaining key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities throughout the Alaska market, with a primary focus on commercial clients, including U.S. military installations.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and grow key customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities in Alaska

Focus primarily on commercial projects, including U.S. military base work

Work closely with customers, internal teams, operations, vendors, and contract partners to manage projects from start to finish

Serve as a product and process expert, guiding customers toward effective space planning and furniture solutions

Educate customers on procurement processes, independently or in coordination with contract partners
-
Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and communicate space planning requirements and logistics

Identify and recommend product solutions that meet customer needs
- Travel throughout the Alaska market, including access to U.S. military bases (own transportation required)

Technologically proficient, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check for U.S. military base access

Willingness to travel within the Alaska market

Familiarity with federal government procurement is a plus
- Experience in the contract furniture industry is highly desirable

Education & Experience

Associate degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
