Logistics Manager - Anchorage Division
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Anchorage logistics for the motorcoach operations. Key role during the offseason includes communication with vendors on blocks and working with established customers on logistics for upcoming season. In season, responsible for developing logistics and daily dispatches.
RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:
Include but aren’t limited to:
- Analyze logistics and create daily dispatches for motorcoach operations.
- Oversee FIT sales and scheduling.
- Respond to space request from cruise lines.
- Assist SC Regional Manager of Tour Ops working closely with our contracted cruise ships, charter groups and vendors to ensure accurate passengers logistics.
- Responsible for final dispatch and delegating dispatching duties to staff.
- Work closely with the operations lead to have accurate driver/guide counts and other daily operation details associated with scheduling.
- Coordinate blocks with tour and attraction vendors to ensure maximum efficiencies are used when scheduling motorcoaches.
