What makes us More?
Thomas More Classical School forms students in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty by cultivating hearts and minds through a content-rich classical Christian education. We deepen faith, awaken God-given charisms, and equip each graduate with the knowledge and virtue needed to pursue their unique calling and live as free and flourishing Alaskans.

This mission is what drives everything we do at TMCS.

As an interdenominational classical Christian school, we welcome families seeking a morally grounded, content-rich education. TMCS is honored to be a Hillsdale K–12 supported founding effort, selected through a highly competitive application process.

What sets us apart is our vigorous classical curriculum, our warm and faithful Christian ethos, and our strategic partnership with Hillsdale College’s K–12 initiative. We aspire to be the premier choice for families in Anchorage and beyond. Our four pillars of Formation, Discovery, Service, and Goodwill are strengthened by the virtues that embody them: Courage, Fortitude, Prudence, Faith, Wisdom, Justice, Duty, Integrity, and Charity.

For the 2026–27 school year, TMCS is seeking key staff professionals who know and love Jesus Christ, and who are eager to fulfill the mission with fidelity and excellence. Led by the Headmaster, each team member is supported, coached, and held accountable to the mission and culture of TMCS all while enjoying opportunities for professional development, generous time off, and an atmosphere of genuine collegiality and care.
We are excited about building our team – find out what it is like to be More!
