Two 2-hour sessions with a focus on negotiation and diversity, presented by Associate Dean Dr. Terry Nelson and Professor Julie Wrigley. 

Diversity: #Oopsism: Communicating Effectively Across Cultures in the 21st Century
"That's so gay." You're an old timer, you wouldn't understand." What are you?" Oops! Do you recall that moment when words escaped your mouth, and you wished you had a "delete" key? Workshop participants will focus on how innocent remarks may be misconceived. Participants will learn how to manage future "Oopisims".

Do you get what you need when you Negotiate?
Do you negotiate to when or to get what you need? Don't waste time winning when you could be focused on the next deal. This workshop will focus on identifying value in a negotiation to "expand the pie." Participants will engage in a short role-play.
