Sound the Alarm

On May 3rd, 2025, American Red Cross volunteers, fire departments, and partners will install free smoke alarms in Penland Park, Anchorage, AK. Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half. That’s why we’re rallying volunteers to Sound the Alarm. Experience a rewarding day connecting with other volunteers and the families you’ll help. Since 2014, we’ve made more than 1 million homes safer and helped save lives.
