Project Overview
This is the third in a series of projects to improve safety, access, and connectivity on the Seward Highway between Rabbit Creek Road and 36th Avenue. This project from Dimond Boulevard to O’Malley Road will improve safety, access, and connectivity for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
Over the past six months, the project team has been working with an Advisory Committee representing community, agency, and corridor interests to take a fresh look and identify area needs.
- Pedestrian and cyclist safety concerns
- Insufficient non-motorized connectivity
- Misalignment between Brayton Drive operations and its desired use
- Operational non-motorized and motorized user accommodation gaps at interchanges
We Want to Hear from You
Tell us what you think about these needs and if you think anything is missing. The next step will be to identify solutions to address these needs within the available funding to improve conditions for all users.
