Nuestra Huella: Opening Celebration

Latinx culture enlivens the Anchorage Museum with presentations, dance and food for the opening of Nuestra Huella (Our Footprint). Listen to opening remarks beginning at 6:30 p.m., enjoy cultural dances and try samples of favorite foods during this community celebration. 
 
Organized by Enlaces Alaska, Nuestra Huella comprises two exhibitions celebrating Alaska's Latinx history and culture. Through photographs, community stories, archival research, artworks, and cultural belongings from museum collections, visitors will learn about traditions, beliefs, and histories from Alaska-based Latinx communities. On view September 13, 2024 - April 13, 2025.
