Municipal Activity Committee
Special Presentation and Municipal Activity Committee (MAC) meeting: Solid Waste Services will give a status update on the design of the new Central Transfer Station and explain how the new facility will increase opportunities for reuse and recycling. Staff will also speak about innovative programs currently in operation, including organics collection and commercial glass recycling.

The Municipal Activity Committee gathers all proposed legislation at the state and municipal level that may impact businesses in Anchorage and work with the Anchorage Chamber Board of Directors, along with Chamber members, in an effort to develop advocacy actions that will ensure a successful business climate.
