MLK Community-wide Cultural Celebration

Join us for the Annual “I Have a Dream” Solidarity Weekend as we come together to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a powerful evening of culture, connection, and community celebration.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Cultural Celebration will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Bettye Davis East Anchorage High School. This special event highlights the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, while creating space for unity, learning, and joy.

Enjoy an engaging atmosphere featuring local vendors, free pizza, and space for dialogue and connection, all in the spirit of solidarity and shared purpose. This is a family-friendly gathering welcoming students, families, educators, and community members from across Anchorage.
