"Make it Monday" forum - Update on sale of ML&P to Chugach Electric Association

On April 3, 2018, following more than three decades of debate and discussion, 65 percent of Anchorage voters said yes to selling the municipally-owned ML&P to Chugach Electric Association. After the vote, representatives from Chugach, ML&P, and the Municipality of Anchorage have been working on a final sales agreement and outlining a process for how the two utilities will come together.

This presentation will update the community on the progress of the sale and expected timeline for final approval. Speakers will include Mayor Ethan Berkowitz, Municipal Attorney Rebecca Windt Pearson and Chugach CEO Lee Thibert.
