"Make it Monday" forum - Counting All Alaskans: What's at Stake for the 2020 Census

The Census has consequences that all Alaskans will live with for the next 10 years, and it kicked off on January 21, 2020 - months before Census operations kick off in the Lower 48. We ask business leaders and all types of organizations to join us to spread the word about the importance of the 2020 Census and help ensure a complete and accurate count of all Alaskans.
This presentation by Laurie Wolf, CEO of The Foraker Group, will include educational information that reminds folks about the critical importance of the Census to businesses specifically, with serious implications on informing investment decisions and strategic planning within the private sector. We will include specific ways that businesses can spread the word and tap into their networks to support a fair and accurate count of all Alaskans.
As the Foraker Group's President and CEO, Laurie works with people she admires and respects. She is passionate about the power of the nonprofit sector to change lives, secure our economic opportunities, provide essential arts, cultural and education experiences, improve our environment and truly partner to ensure healthy communities. She is committed to connecting nonprofit leaders across the state and sector to weave a network of positive learning, support, and success. Her work at Foraker focuses on facilitating collaborations, providing board and leadership development, and creating a positive culture of philanthropy within organizations.
