"Make it Monday" forum - Alaska Moving Forward: Delivering Natural Gas to the World
Rosetta Alcantra, Vice President of Communications for the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC), is pleased to present on the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation. Ms. Alcantra will provide a brief overview of “Who is AGDC?” and will share information on the corporation’s activity and progress since 2016. AGDC is progressing their mission of “Alaska Moving Forward: Delivering Natural Gas to the World” and is looking forward to providing information to the chamber on the AGDC initiatives. Ms. Alcantra will provide a historical overview of the corporation and insight into how the Alaska LNG project benefits Alaskans.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Rosetta Alcantra is the Vice President of Communications for the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation. Her 20 years of experience in Alaska includes project management, administration and implementation of public outreach projects, planning strategies, and key message development. Rosetta has managed and implemented stakeholder outreach for large Oil and Gas projects, as well as transportation infrastructure throughout the State. A certified member of the International Public Participation Association (IAP2) and graduate of Doyon Management Training, Rosetta understands the complexities of working with diverse communities and has the management skills necessary to build a successful business. Ms. Alcantra has a BA in Political Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Rosetta is a lifelong Alaskan raised in the rural villages of Anvik, McGrath and King Cove. She is a shareholder of Doyon Limited and Hee-Yea-Lingde Corporation, and a tribal member of Agdaagux Tribe of King Cove. Her home in Palmer, Alaska is shared with her husband, John Alcantra, their four children: Neillan, Almeria, Brodie, and Te’shya along with several pets. As a community member, she is active and maintains positions in the following organizations: Alaska Girl Scouts, 4H Club, AGEYA Wilderness Education Board, Palmer Soccer Club, and the Valley Women’s Running Team.
