"Make it Monday" forum - Advancing Technology in Public Schools
Technology is the game changer to pivot Alaska’s schools toward the future in a rapidly-changing world. The Alaska 1:1 Digital Initiative, proposed by Governor Parnell, would begin a process for giving each K-12 student a mobile tablet device, enabling on-demand access to the myriad of digital education resources now available.
Sue Hull, president of the Association of Alaska School Boards, and Bob Whicker, director of the Association of Alaska School Boards Consortium for Digital Learning, will discuss this “first in the nation” opportunity for Alaska’s schools -- to accelerate progress and advance learning.
