LIVESTREAM - "Make it Monday" forum - State of the City Address
DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE MAYOR WILL PRESENT VIRTUALLY.
We are still holding the luncheon at The Lakefront Anchorage, and will be live-streaming the Mayor's State of the City Address via Zoom.
If you would like to cancel your in-person attendance for a credit to a future "Make it Monday" forum, please reply to this email. Otherwise, we still look forward to seeing you at The Lakefront Anchorage. Doors open at 11:30 am for lunch and networking. The program will begin promptly at Noon.
Mayor Dave Bronson will discuss the Municipality’s continued response to the pandemic, the financial state of our municipality, economic recovery and revitalization, current and long term plans for solving homelessness, and investments for the community’s future.
PLUS, a new member presentation from Linda Janes of gener8tor.
Anchorage, Alaska is home to Dave Bronson after a two-year corporate commitment that turned into a love for Alaska lasting 29 years and counting! Born June 26, 1958 in Superior, Wisconsin, Dave earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
After graduation, he was an Active Duty Air Force Pilot from 1981 to 1990, USAF Reserves Plans Officer from 1992 to 1993, and an Alaska ANG Maintenance Officer and Pilot from 1993 to 2005 while balancing a commercial airline pilot career from 1990 to 2020.
While flying military aircraft, he met and married Debra. They have been married for 35 years and have raised two children, Katie and Zach.
His love for The Last Frontier includes land, air, and water as he enjoys exploring Alaska while hunting, fishing, and flying to remote areas.
The Anchorage Chamber is committed to creating and providing an environment where our members feel comfortable, but also have the freedom to do business. We will continue to follow the latest guidance from the CDC and the Anchorage Health Department. We encourage everyone, regardless of vaccination status, to wear facial coverings when not actively eating or drinking. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided at all in-person events, and we ask that you keep your distance from others. Please stay home if you feel sick or have been exposed. Lastly, we encourage everyone to consider getting vaccinated. Visit anchoragecovidvaccine.org.
