Kids Day at the Alaska Zoo

As the weather starts to warm up, the family can peel off some layers and get outside at the Alaska Zoo for Kids Day. The event, sponsored by Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, encourages the community to get outside and enjoy the spring weather. Children under 17 get in free and adults pay regular zoo admission.

All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Kids Day attendees can expect the day to be full of fun with activities happening between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Activities include a petting zoo, an animal photo booth, temporary tattoos, animal enrichment, a wheel of fortune with prize giveaways and zoo mascots roaming around the trails. There will be concessions and cotton candy for sale throughout the day as well as free hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for the adults. Come join the fun and kick off the spring season by visiting the Alaska Zoo animals with all the fun hosted by Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.
