Continuum of Care Notice of FY26 HUD Funding Opportunity

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness is convening a meeting on Friday, June 5, to bring our community together around the newly released FY26 HUD Continuum of Care Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

This year’s NOFO looks very different than past ones. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is emphasizing treatment, self-sufficiency and public safety. Nationwide, one-third of the grant funds will go to new project types that have not been previously funded: transitional housing and supportive services only. Grants for standalone supportive services will be available in areas from childcare to healthcare, from education to street outreach, to list a few.

We want to ensure our community is aligned early and prepared to develop a strong, competitive collaborative application that centers the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.

Who should attend?

This meeting is for organizations, agencies and individuals serving our Anchorage neighbors experiencing homelessness and interested in applying for a local project grant. Those who would like to be part of developing our communitywide collaborative grant application or who want to review then rank local project applications also are encouraged to attend.
