Chamber Academy - Retirement is NOT THE FINISH LINE

This Chamber Academy will focus on retirement plans and the perks of understanding the benefits of retirement, and how to make life simpler later. Too often, we see people chasing retirement as the goal in and of itself, only to "get there" and realize they've been running towards a milestone, yes, but a terrible end destination. We can be so focused on what we are retiring FROM, we lose sight of what we are retiring TO. Explore your goals, benefits and options with Veritas Wealth Management on May 8 from 11 am to Noon.
 

Chad Hufford, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, grew up in the financial industry, but also developed a strong background in athletics, nutrition and performance psychology. Chad brings a coaching mindset and the heart of a teacher to financial planning and investing as he strives to both empower and educate his audience to not only become better investors, but to live more intentionally and create an abundant life. FULL BIO

Chamber Academy is an educational workshop geared toward business owners, entrepreneurs and young professionals. Community experts present on various topics like down-to-earth “how-to’s” and “best practices” to more abstract topics like collecting and leveraging data, exploring what it takes to create an inviting and productive work environment, and taking legislative action on issues important to your business.

With an educational focus, this event is a great networking platform for new and existing Anchorage Chamber members. Chamber Academy is held monthly at the Anchorage Chamber Board Room, or the presenter’s place of business, if preferred, from 11 am to 12 pm and includes light refreshments. Max 30 attendees. This smaller group setting encourages participation and open discussion with attendees.
