Chamber Academy - How to Get Your Press Release in the News
The discussion will include publishing best practices including how to best communicate information, what types of press releases are most likely to published, and what types are not. Also in the discussion we will present examples of useful press releases versus press releases that will likely never see the light of day. We would also like to incorporate a Q&A in our allotted time.
Alaska Business Managing Editor Kathryn Mackenzie spent the past two decades writing and editing about commodities markets, finance, and healthcare from locations all over the United States and in Canada. Kathryn also loves the world of social media and has worked as social media manager for a number of organizations.
Alaska Business Associate Editor Tasha Anderson joined the Alaska Business team in April 2012. Tasha is a (mostly) life-long Alaskan who got her feet wet in the Alaska Business community as ABM's front desk editorial assistant.
