Chamber Academy - Business Resources from the Anchorage Public Library
The Anchorage Public Library offers many free and low-cost services to help small businesses and entrepreneurs. Participants will learn how to get connected to the books, digital resources and programs available at their five locations and online.

Kristie Nelsen is the Virtual Services Librarian at the Anchorage Public Library where she regularly gives classes and presentations on the library's digital and print resources. She holds masters degrees in Music History and Literature from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas. She came to Alaska in 2001, and worked in the nonprofit sector for AK Child & Family and the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and as a youth services librarian at APL prior to taking on the virtual services role. She is the current chair of the Public Libraries Committee of the Music Library Association and serves on the board of the Anchorage International Film Festival.
