Anchorage Museum’s Seed Lab hosts community “misfit” gift exchange

In the spirit of buy nothing, sell nothing, the public is invited to bring new or nearly-new unwrapped item for to contribute to a common gifting pool for others to take. Participants may wrap their swapped gift at a gift wrap station that includes reused/remade gift wrap options. 

The gift exchange is part of an ongoing series of climate-forward programs and events, like monthly climate “cafes” geared towards connecting community members around sustainability.

ABOUT SEED LAB: Seed Lab is a space for programming, residencies, convening, events and exchange, among community members and creatives. Through Seed Lab, the museum explores ideas around healthy communities, the natural world, and the key issues facing people who live in Alaska and the North.
