Calling Anchorage City Nerds!

City Nerd Nite is back! The Housing Action Week program was so fun, we’re bringing it back this spring to welcome Anchorage locals to indulge in 7-minute presentations all about “Money Money Money” on Thurs. March 28 from 6-8pm at King St. Brewing Co.

Coming just in time for first quarter budget revisions, the theme makes way to explore public finance topics, including municipal budgeting, taxes, bonds and more!  

About City Nerd Nite
City Nerd Nite welcomes Anchorage locals to give 7-minute presentations on topics of their choosing related to a theme. The program opens the door to conversations about the way our city works, capturing ideas for yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Up for the challenge? Pitch us an idea related to public finance that excites you. We're not looking for expertise, we're looking for informed enthusiasm!​ The format is limited to: 

• 7 minutes maximum

• 14 slides maximum
