AMATS: Fireweed Lane Rehabilitation Open House #1
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), is hosting an open house for the AMATS: Fireweed Lane Rehabilitation project.
This project proposes to rehabilitate Fireweed Lane from Spenard Road to the Seward Highway to improve safety and to bring the roadway and non-motorized facilities up to current design standards. The project will analyze and design alternative roadway configurations to improve motorized and active transportation needs, as well as business circulation and access along the corridor.
Come learn about the potential alternatives, ask questions, and share comments directly with the project team. Meeting materials will be available on the project website beginning October 30, 2024. Comments can be submitted during the meeting, online, or in writing.
