The Behavioral Health Expansion Project is a transformative initiative by Southcentral Foundation to enhance behavioral health and substance use services in Alaska. Located in Anchorage, the new state-of-the-art facility will include a 16-chair, 23-hour Adult Crisis Stabilization Center, a 16-bed Adult Crisis Residential Program, and an expanded 30-bed Detox Program offering Medication-Assisted Treatment. Designed to address critical gaps in the continuum of care, the facility will provide culturally appropriate, integrated services to individuals statewide, ensuring timely intervention and pathways to long-term recovery while reducing strain on emergency rooms and first responders.
