Mrs. Lucy Hansen

I am a Pacific Islander, born and raised in the Pacific. Moved to Alaska in 1985, retired State of Alaska employee after 27 years of service. CEO and Founder of Polynesian Association of Alaska since 2005, also known as PAOA. It is a small Non-Profit Organization in Anchorage with their Mission: To Empower and Educate individuals and families. Promote pride and acceptance of all cultures and instill the best values they represent. Vision: That our Pacific Island Community in Alaska are supported for Education, Employment, Health and Cultural enrichment. During Covid, PAOA introduced the City and State of Alaska to bring the Vaccine to the Community, where Community Vaccine Sites started in Anchorage.
