Paula has deep roots in Alaska. She began her career as a Medical Administrator and spent two decades leading private practices as Director and Administrator. Driven by a passion for people, purpose and performance, Paula transitioned into consulting, earned her Gallup Strengths Coach certification, and launched her own advisory firm. Just a few years later, she acquired a long-standing staffing and executive search company—her firm is now known as PeopleAK.

Today, with a team of 12 full-time professionals, Paula’s firm delivers end-to-end employee experience solutions, including recruitment, training, and subject matter expertise. Her mission is simple: help Alaska’s small and midsize businesses not just compete—but thrive with a goal to improve job satisfaction with every project her team engages in.
