Gabriel McQueen is a Dominican-born community leader, healthcare advocate, and entrepreneur based in Anchorage, Alaska. He is the owner of McQueen Advocacy and Consultants, LLC, where he works as a Medicaid Waiver Care Coordinator supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities. Gabriel also serves as a Community Health Worker and Peer Leader Navigator, connecting families with healthcare education, preventive services, and community resources. As president of Dominicanos Unidos en Alaska, he promotes Dominican culture, community engagement, and civic participation.
His advocacy focuses on strengthening home- and community-based services, addressing senior isolation, supporting the direct-care workforce, and improving access to essential programs. In recognition of his service, Gabriel was named a 2026 CREA LatinX Person of the Year.
