YPG - AER Mobile Food Pantry

Please join us as we support the November Mobile Food Pantry, in partnership with the Anchorage East Rotary Club. We're looking for volunteers to help get food into the hands of our neighbors who need it most!

Volunteers will help distribute food and food bags to visitors, and pitch in with setting up and breaking down tables and boxes before and after the event.

Details:
Date: November 14th, 2026
Location: Fairview Recreation Center parking lot
Volunteer Shift: Arrive by 1:30 PM; event typically wraps up between 3:00 - 3:30pm
Volunteer Duties: Assisting with food distribution and general event support 

Please note:
1. This event is entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather. As we'll only cancel in cases of extreme cold.
2. The recreation center is sometimes open, giving volunteers access to a bathroom. But this isn't guaranteed, so please come prepared to be without indoor access.
3. Please park along the street rather than in the recreation center parking lot.
