Please join us for a special meeting brought to you by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and Cook Inlet Housing Authority. The Sightline Institute, based in Seattle, is a public policy think tank with a mission to make the Pacific Northwest a global model of sustainability. One of Sightline’s core issue areas is housing policy aimed at creating compact, equitable, efficient urban neighborhoods.
Alan Durning, Sightline’s Founder and Executive Director, will discuss Seattle’s bold affordable housing plan: the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda. Dan Bertolet, Sightline’s Senior Researcher on Housing and Urbanism, will discuss a Seattle case study of how red tape and permitting delays affect housing supply and affordability.
