Alaska law includes several provisions that increase labor costs, stifle job growth and impair competition, while eroding certain rights and benefits for employees. These provisions could be corrected, but survive for a variety of reasons.
Gregory Fisher, partner with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, will address how small steps could be taken to make Alaska more competitive and business friendly while promoting employees’ rights and interests.
