HOW TO BE AN INFORMED VOTER ON THE JUDGES
OF THE NOV. 6TH BALLOT
Alaska's judges preside over business-related trials that can involve real estate, business contracts, employment issues, landlord-tenant disputes and small claims filings. Retired Alaska Superior Court Judge Karen Hunt will explain the judicial evaluation and retention election portion of Alaska's merit-based judicial selection and retention process and will inform on how Alaskans can be educated voters on the judges on the Nov. 6th ballot.
Plus, a new member presentation by financial advisor, Travis Gularte.
Retired Alaska Superior Court Judge Karen Hunt was appointed as a judge in 1984. She holds the distinction of being the first woman from Anchorage to be appointed to the Superior Court. Judge Hunt served until her retirement in 2000.
