Marge Stoneking, Alaska Director of the American Lung Association and Emily Nenon, Alaska Government Relations Director for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network will present the health and economic effects of smoke-free workplace policies here in Alaska, outside, and around the world, and will make the case for a statewide smoke-free workplace law. Data will include release of a brand-new study on the impact of Anchorage 2000 and 2007 Clean Indoor Air municipal ordinances on restaurants and bars.
